To win a cooperative game (which two-handed solo is), you must fulfil both objectives. You place all active player miniatures in the hibernatorium, where they have just awoken – except for one, the corpse that’s now a token on the board.Īt the beginning of the game, you also get dealt two objective cards, of which they get to pick one when the first alien miniature appears on the board. To start the game, you pick a character (or two), either at random or not, and take the appropriate player board, starting items, miniature, and player cards. I’ll go into the reason why in the next section. ![]() I will go further below, but please be advised that this section (and the rest of my review) was written with two-handed solo in mind, controlling two characters. You can play Nemesis with 1-5 players however, I found true solo a relatively dull experience. ![]() ![]() Can you survive the harsh reality of a dysfunctional spaceship that you have no recollection of? Awoken from hypersleep on the Nemesis, you will need to get the spacecraft up and running again to fulfil your goals – unless your goal is to sabotage the ship.
